MOBILE PHONE THROWING WORLD RECORD STAYS IN FINLAND!!                   

The 8th international Mobile Phone Throwing World Championships took place in Savonlinna on Saturday the 25th of August 2007.  The new champion is Tommi Huotari, Finland with result 89,62 m. In the Original individual category second was Mika Paajanen with 76,68 meters and the third was Mikko Haikala with a result of 73,36 meters.

The worldchampion in the Women’s category is last year's winner Eija Laakso with result 44,49 m. She is still holding the world champion record from last year. The second was Farah el Airoudi from The Netherlands with a throw of 42,06 meters. She won women's category in her own country and also won a trip to the Championships, Savonlinna. The third was Tuija Helenius, 40,48 m.

In the Junior category the winner Antti Aikio threw 51,26 meters. Sami Mikkola came second with 31,92 meters and third was Keni Lunna, 30,20 meters.

FreeStyle

This year there were two winners! A lovely cow girl Elina Pitkänen got 12 points from the jury. Also Taco Cohen from The Netherlands got 12 points by walking by his hands and doing other tricks. The third was Juho Dillström with 11 points.

The champions of freestyle team category are Tanen Enkelit. They won few years ago this same category.
